The final "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" trailer has arrived, and after we wiped a stray tear from our eye, we dove into a bit of expert commentary — because the new footage is nothing short of epic!

Hit play on the embedded video as we walk through some of the key moments in the trailer, then read on for a deeper exploration of the last "Potter" trailer before "Deathly Hallows, Part 2" hits theaters July 15.

Watch Out, Mrs. Potter
Right off the bat, we greet Harry's mom, Lily Potter, just moments before she and her husband are going to die by Voldemort's hand. This is a very critical scene in "Potter" mythology. We've seen flashbacks and memories of Harry's childhood before, but it does seem "Part 2" is going to give us a full showing of what happened to Harry as very young boy. It's sure to be a grisly moment. It's a difficult scene to read, and it's likely to be even more taxing to watch. This brief glimpse of Lily hints the new movie will not shy away from J.K. Rowling's most grueling material. Everything has led to this.

Quidditch Is No More
There have been so many gargantuan action set pieces across the franchise, but this scene of the Quidditch field burning to the ground gives us a very clear picture of where the series is headed: from wizards and witches flying around on broomsticks to that venue for the game being destroyed. It's all a result of the Battle of Hogwarts, the grand and terrifying throw-down near the film's conclusion.

Snape, You Rascal
What to think about Severus Snape? He's been a good guy and a Dumbledore-killing villain. In this scene, he most certainly is not in everyone's good graces. Harry's got a lot of anger to direct at Snape, seeing as he killed the boy wizard's mentor. Here he finally gets to confront Snape — the first time since "Half-Blood Prince" that these two have come face to face. But give Snape some time. Without spoiling anything for those who have not read the book, Snape has some interesting things to share and a new side of himself to show off.

Welcome Back, Gary
This is one of the single most important scenes in the entire series. Harry is about to go off into the forest for a battle with Voldemort, and he's greeted by the ghosts of pals' past, thanks to the powers of the Resurrection Stone. One of them is Gary Oldman's Sirius Black. Daniel Radcliffe has told MTV News on many occasions that this scene was the one he was dreading most. Did he have the chops to pull it off? But when it came time to shoot the scene, the actor behind Harry was relieved to have a legend like Oldman supporting him.

It All Ends, Epically
Overall, it's hard not to note how epic the trailer is. You have warriors jumping and landing on one knee — that most badass of acrobatic big-screen landings. You have thousands of spells, like arrows out of "Braveheart," soaring toward an embattled castle. You have dragons breathing fire and loads of people dying. It's amazing to see how much is being revealed in the trailer. Yet at the same time, so much is still to come. There's so much in store that it would be impossible to spoil everything. If you think this trailer is too filled with spoilers, you're wrong! There's a lot more that could be shown. And that's proof the final film has absolutely everything you could want as a "Potter" fan.

While Willow Smith is the one who made music headlines with "Whip My Hair" last year, it's her brother, "Karate Kid" actor Jaden Smith, who will take the stage at the upcoming 53rd Grammy Awards in a special performance alongside Usher and Justin Bieber, with whom he collaborated on the song "Never Say Never" last summer.

The trio joins a list of new performers added to the show on Thursday (January 20) that will also include another power trifecta made up of B.o.B, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe, according to a press release from the Recording Academy announcing the additions to the February 13 telecast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Also taking the stage next month will be nominees Muse and Lady Antebellum. They will join a roster of previously announced performers that includes Eminem, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Arcade Fire, Cee Lo Green and Miranda Lambert. It will be the first time on the Grammy performance stage for Bieber, B.o.B, Lambert, Mars, Monáe, Muse and Smith. Eminem, Green, Gaga, Perry, Usher and Lady Antebellum will be making return visits for the occasion.

While 11-time Grammy winner Eminem leads the pack in nominations this year (with 10 nods), Mars has seven nominations, and Gaga and Lady Antebellum are not far behind with six nods each. B.o.B has notched five, Perry and Green are each up for four, and Arcade Fire and Lambert are vying for three awards. Bieber, Muse, Usher and Monáe are each nominated for two Grammys.

No details of the collaborative performances were released, but the Grammy announcement promised a rare, never-before-seen event for the Mars, B.o.B and Monáe segment.

With the addition of Antebellum, all five Album of the Year nominees (Eminem, Arcade Fire, Gaga, Perry) are now scheduled to perform on the show. Additional performers, presenters and special segments will be announced soon.

Which Grammy performance are you most looking forward to? Talk about it in the comments!

Beyonce Responds To 4 Album Leak

'While this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response,' she tells MTV News in a statement.

Beyoncé is taking a glass-half-full approach to the leak of her entire 4 album three weeks before its June 28 release date.

In a statement released to MTV News on Wednesday (June 8), Beyoncé lamented the early arrival but said she's making the most of the eagerness of her fans to get their hands on her first new batch of songs since 2008's double-disc I Am ... Sasha Fierce.

"My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans," the singer wrote. "When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs."

Beyoncé fans were psyched Tuesday when her collabo with Andre 3000, "Party," leaked weeks before the new album was due. It was one of several leaks the album has faced over the past week. A short time after the Kanye West and Consequence-produced "Party" slipped out, another song, "Countdown," which samples the Boyz II Men tune "Uhh Ahh," also surfaced, followed by the entire album.

While B's team scrambles to take down the offending links that have popped up all over the Web, some online rogues have taken to Twitter to put up links, making it harder for the label to track down the music. Fans have already gotten a number of listens to tunes from the disc, including the uptempo dancehall first single "Run the World (Girls)," the lush ballad "1+1" and the second official single "Best Thing I Never Had." Another tune, "End of Time," which samples late Afrobeat superstar Fela Kuti, has also leaked online.

Have you heard any of the leaked album, or are you waiting for the official release? Let us know in the comments.

Lady Gaga's Born This Way Holds On To #1 Billboard Spot

BTW sales drop 84 percent, while Death Cab for Cutie debut at #3 with Codes and Keys.

What a difference a week — and a price higher than 99 cents — makes. While Lady Gaga will hold on to the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, sales for Born This Way were down a whopping 84 percent in its second go-round, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, plummeting from more than 1.1 million to just over 174,000. That put Mother Monster within sight of the 1.3 million mark, while the unstoppable Adele held the #2 spot with 21, which moved another 121,000 to push over the 2 million mark.

There are plenty of other new faces in the top 10, with Death Cab for Cutie crashing in at #3 with Codes and Keys (102,000), Eddie Vedder just behind with his sedate solo effort Ukulele Songs (71,000) and Kentucky rockers My Morning Jacket notching their highest debut yet at #5 with Circuital (55,000). The other newbie in the mix is Flogging Molly's Speed of Darkness, which lands at #9 thanks to sales of 25,000.

The rest of the top 10: Brad Paisley's This Is Country Music (#6, 53,000), NOW 38 (#7, 39,000), Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party (#8, 33,000) and "Glee": The Music, Volume 6 (#10, 25,000).

A number of hyped albums suffer double-digit dips including the self-titled boy band supergroup's NKOTBSB (down 15 spots and 63 percent, #22), the Beastie Boys' Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 (down 12 spots and 29 percent) and Lonely Island's Turtleneck & Chain (down 14 spots and 30 percent).

Gaga couldn't knock Adele off the top of the iTunes singles and albums charts, with 21 holding the top spot above Born This Way, followed by Death Cab, Vedder, My Morning Jacket, Paisley, Mumford & Sons' Sigh No More, "American Idol" champ Scotty McCreery's season 10 digital highlights album, buzz band Foster the People's Torches and Flogging Molly.

While Gaga has already released a blizzard of singles to date, Adele's first, and so far only, single, "Rolling in the Deep," continues to sit atop the iTunes singles tally, holding off Pitbull's "Give Me Everything," Gaga's "The Edge of Glory," LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" and Lil Wayne's "How to Love." Another Young Money member, Nicki Minaj, is in the #6 slot with "Super Bass," outpacing Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song," DJ Khaled's "I'm the One," Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor" and Lupe Fiasco's "The Show Goes On."

Things are likely to stay static at the top next week as the major new releases include albums from Britain's Arctic Monkeys, country singer Ronnie Dunn and underground rapper Tech N9ne.

Lady Gaga Recalls Beyonce's Inspiration In MTV's 'Inside The Outside'

After being dropped by Island Def Jam, Gaga saw a Destiny's Child video and decided, 'I want that.'
By James Montgomery

Sometime around 2006, Lady Gaga wasn't Lady Gaga. Sure, she was using the name back then, but she was still little more than a Lower East Side oddity, not the iconic, globe-spanning superstar she has since become. And so, she was understandably elated to score a meeting — and a subsequent deal — with Island Def Jam impresario L.A. Reid.

But after a few months, for reasons never really explained, her phone calls stopped being returned and she was summarily dropped from the label. In hindsight, it was just a minor bump on her road to stardom, but at the time, Gaga was crushed. It's a pain she's never quite forgotten, as she explained in the just-premiered "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside" documentary.

"I remember when I got dropped from my first record label, I just said, 'Mommy, let's go see Grandma,' " Gaga recalled. "And I cried on my grandmother's couch. She looked at me, and she goes, 'I'm going to let you cry for the rest of the day, and then you have to stop crying, and you have to go kick some ass.' "

Devastated, but determined, Gaga set forth to do just that. And in addition to her grandmother's words, she drew inspiration from a rather unlikely source — one that would also prove oddly prescient in the years to come.

"You know, I've never told Beyoncé this, but I remember laying on my grandmother's couch crying, and a Destiny's Child video came on," she said. "I remember watching Beyoncé thinking, 'Oh, she's a star. I want that. I want to be on MTV.' And now I'm in music videos with Beyoncé."

It's because of those early rejections that Gaga has learned to savor her success. After all, she's certainly proved her naysayers wrong.

"The commercial success that I've had has been mind-blowing," she said. "I'm the girl that everyone said 'No' and shook their head and said 'I don't get it.' "

Well, it seems that millions of people around the world "get it" now.
