¿Y a ti? ¿Qué te parece todo esto?

Artist colony enters its death throes -- come see!
One day the site will be AU$2 billion-worth of high rises. But for now, the few heritage warehouses left by bulldozers at the Carlton and United Brewery make up an artist colony.
Developer Frasers -- concerned about increasing crime and squatters -- approached the artist cooperative Queen Street Studios to live in the spaces rent free.
It became an artists? colony. But their time will soon be up, so there's only a few months left to see their work and hear from the artists.

Usher To Donate Gadhafi Money To Charity
'I will be donating all of my personal proceeds...to various human rights organizations,' singer says of concert linked to Libyan dictator.

R&B superstar Usher announced Friday (March 4) that he was donating to various charities proceeds from appearing at a private event at St. Barts linked to Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, according to a statement made to the Associated Press.
The Grammy award winner's renouncement comes after similar announcements from singers Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, and Beyoncé, all of whom were revealed to have performed at private concerts linked to the Middle Eastern leader, who has faced open revolt and major political uprisings since February.
"I am sincerely troubled to learn about the circumstances surrounding the Nikki Beach St. Bart's event that took place on New Year's Eve 2009," Usher said of the concert, at which he appeared alongside Beyoncé but did not perform. "I will be donating all of my personal proceeds from that event to various human rights organizations."
Usher has already begun the process, having made a donation to Amnesty International, the AP reports. The exact size of the donation is not known.
The New Year's Eve gig was reportedly for Moammar's fourth son Muastassim, who an unnamed music industry source told MTV News has a history of throwing lavish parties "jammed" with supermodels.
Beyoncé, who sang at the event, donated all proceeds from her performance to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund, established in the wake of the Haitian earthquake.
"All monies paid to Beyoncé for her performance at a private party at Nikki Beach St. Barts on New Year's Eve 2009, including the commissions paid to her booking agency, were donated to the earthquake relief efforts for Haiti over a year ago," the "Halo" singer's publicist said in a statement to The Huffington Post. "Once it became known that the third-party promoter was linked to the Qaddafi family, the decision was made to put that payment to a good cause."
Singer Nelly Furtado tweeted February 28 that she plans to make similar amends.
"In 2007, I received 1million$ from the Gadhafi clan to perform a 45 min. show for guests at a hotel in Italy," she tweeted. "I am going to donate the $."
The leader of Libya since a successful military coup in 1969, Gadhafi has reportedly lost control of much of his country as a result of widespread uprisings. The United Nations voted unanimously to refer the dictator to the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity.

Some of pop music's biggest artists, including Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, are lending their tunes for a good cause. On Monday (March 21), it was announced that Universal Music is rushing out a digital-only compilation album to raise awareness and funds for those affected by the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan.
While the lineup and track list have yet to be finalized, other chart-toppers expected to be featured on the release include U2 and Bon Jovi. Lady Gaga may also appear on the album. Proceeds from sales will go to the Japanese Red Cross.
"We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week," a spokesperson for Universal Music said.
In order to maximize proceeds, the record label plans to find more acts willing to waive royalties that would have come from having their tracks appear on the compilation.
Universal Music is not the only music-industry player reaching to support Japan disaster relief. Most recently, the Black Eyed Peas announced that the music video for their tune "Just Can't Get Enough" would be used to promote awareness and funds for victims of the tragic event. The clip, which was shot in Japan one week before the earthquake and tsunami hit, finds the BEP bandmates traveling throughout Toyko.
Earlier this month, Lady Gaga designed a special prayer bracelet with all proceeds going to relief efforts. In just two days, the pop singer and her legion of little monsters raised more than $250,000.
For more information on what you can do to help with earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan head to MTV Act, or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

Britney Spears Announces Las Vegas Nightclub Performance
'Looks like my little secret isnt a secret anymore,' she tweets before tonight's Rain gig with DJ Pauly D from 'Jersey Shore.'
By James Dinh
With less than a week until Femme Fatale hits stores, Britney Spears is adding another date to her promotional calendar. The "Hold It Against Me" singer took to her Twitter on Friday afternoon (March 25) to announce a performance at Rain nightclub at Las Vegas' Palms Casino and Resort scheduled for later this evening.
"Looks like my little secret isnt a secret anymore. Whos coming to watch me take the stage TONIGHT at @RainLasVegas at @PalmsLasVegas?" the pop star tweeted. "You're all invited. Be there or be square bitch!"
Check out hot photos from Britney's Las Vegas show.
Britney is no stranger to the Rain stage. Back in 2003, the pop titan gave fans a sneak peek of her album In the Zone by surprising about 1,800 clubgoers with a 30-minute set, which included songs like "Me Against the Music" and "Breathe on Me."
Spears' Vegas performance is the latest in her string of promotional ventures for her upcoming LP. Last week, it was confirmed that she would pre-tape her "Good Morning America" appearance on Sunday, two days before it will air on the show. On the day of her album release, she will also appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" for a late-night performance of her two latest singles: "Till the World Ends" and "Hold It Against Me."
In addition to her concert specials, MTV will dedicate March 29 to the singer for what is being dubbed a "Britney Takeover" day. The entertainer will also make appearances on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and the Kids' Choice Awards on April 2.
Spears has been keeping fans on the edge of their seats for months with video and song teasers leading up to Femme Fatale's Tuesday release. When MTV News interviewed Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph, after the premiere of her "Hold It Against Me" video, he had high praise for the pop star's latest project, comparing the album to a Madonna classic.
"In my opinion, this is her strongest album ever. It's somewhat of a departure from what she's done. It's more mature," Rudolph told us last month. "It's more of a dance record and this really is ... Britney's Ray of Light album."

Tiesto Debuts Unfinished Kanye West Remix At Ultra Music Festival
DJ says he and Kanye are still tweaking 'Lost in This World' remix.
By Akshay Bhansali
MIAMI — When MTV News caught up with house music producer Dirty South Saturday afternoon (March 26) as part of our coverage of Miami Music Week, he was still beaming from a blessing he received the night before. Tijs Verwest, known to millions of fans around the world by his stage name Tiësto, dropped Dirty South's new remix of Diddy Dirty Money's "Coming Home," a mix commissioned by Diddy himself, for fans at Miami's annual Ultra Music Festival last night at Bicentennial Park. With a sold-out crowd of 50,000 electronic dance music fans in attendance, the display had quite an audience.
"I've seen a video clip of Tiësto's performance from last night. It was sick! rejoiced Dirty South.
That the veteran dance music icon played remixes and songs featuring recent partnerships with younger producers and vocalists over the course of his headlining set at UMF should come as no surprise. Tiësto, as of late, has been reborn. Once a strictly trance-music icon, the Dutch producer's current sound is very much of today — a big-room trance/house blend that's opened him up to an even larger fanbase.
Very early in his set at the main stage, Tiësto brought the crowd to a roar when he broke out his hit song with rising star and countryman Hardwell, "Zero 76," which was named after their shared area code of birth in Holland. Hands, accessorized neon lights and beach balls bounced across the horizon from beginning till the end of the song, which since dropping in February still remains perched high on the Beatport.com top 100 songs.
After the rousing Dirty South-Diddy Dirty Money remix, the crowd went nuts at the onset of Tiësto Kaleidoscope fan favorite "Escape Me," and on the ground, it sounded as if all 50,000 voices at Bicentennial Park were chanting the CC Sheffield chorus.
Of course, fans were completely floored when Tiësto launched into one of his latest remixes — an as yet unfinished mix of rapper Kanye West's "Lost in This World." At first it seemed it may have taken the audience a second to take stock of what they were actually hearing — West's soulful lamenting lyrics over dark, hard-hitting synths and Tiësto drums. The pause was brief, as hands were in the air in a matter of moments. Tiësto revealed that the song is not yet finished, as he and West are collaborating on song tweaks.
Also of note, fans were treated to Tiësto and Mark Knights' "Beautiful World," featuring the vocals of Dino, which as of this week is the #1 song on the Beatport.com chart.
We will have much more from Tiësto, including more about his song with Kanye West, and interviews from the biggest stars in dance music coming up next week.
What do you think of Kanye West and Tiësto teaming up together? What do you think the finished product will sound like? Let us know in the comments below!
